key workers
At Little Scallywags Nursery, we operate a key worker system. Your child’s key worker will support you and your child during the settling period, as well as observe and support their development. We, at Little Scallywags Nursery believe it is important for all children and parents to develop bonds with staff. Each room has a core team of two members, at least one of these members will be in your child’s room each day, so there is always a familiar face! We are lucky enough that Little Scallywags Nursery is a small community, that enables all children to become familiar with all staff members. On pick up each day, a member of the team will be informed of your child’s day. They will share information on their learning, achievements, and enjoyments as well as any needs.
